IIT JEE & NEET

To counter the rapid commercialization of the coaching industry, Shikshanam offers affordable, high quality coaching for IIT Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Classes are conducted by highly reputed professors in the city.

We currently provide coaching only for the students of the DAV Group of Schools, Chennai

- As there is a limited batch size of 40 students in each of the DAV branches, students are selected strictly based on an entrance exam, which is typically conducted in the month of Oct/Nov every year.
- All students studying in Class X in any school (DAV & non-DAV), across all Boards, can appear for the entrance exam.
- A shortlist of selected candidates is released and is followed by a counselling session and a brief interview.
- The batch typically begins in the month of April, i.e. immediately post the Class X Board exams.

Note: Fees is collected for each year separately, payable in the month of April. In cases, wherein the student is unable to cope with the IIT-JEE / NEET coaching classes and only wants to focus on CBSE,s/he can opt out of coaching in the second year, after seeking permission from the Principal. In such a case, the fees for the second year will not be payable by the student.
