PGCE was an immensely enriching experience for me. I achieved profound transformation both professionally and personally was equipped with their diverse toolkit of innovative techniques, adaptable to various learning styles and needs, instilling confidence in my teaching abilities. The insights gained have redefined my approach, making it more student-centred and interactive. I feel on par with a B.Ed. graduate, if not more so, given the intense practical training and exposure to the latest educational theories. Adaptability, resilience, and effective time management are some of the skills I have learnt from the program that have positively influenced various aspects of my life. The faculty's expertise has been invaluable. Their dedication to our growth was evident in the insightful feedback and guidance they provided.

DAV Guru Shikshanam is a blessing in my life. It brought out the real teacher in me. It helped me move out of my comfort zone and created the thirst to learn more, explore more and do more. The subjects are well crafted by a team of experts and every faculty is the best in their fields. The practical courses in the first half of the day which spans across classes 1 to 10 over the year enabled me to understand how teaching patterns and communication with the students differ. The theory classes helped us to apply whatever we learnt in the practical sessions to get the real picture especially child psychology and classroom management. The assessment was a continuous process and the exams were challenging. If someone has the passion for teaching, there cannot be a better place than Guru Shikshanam.

A highly impressive institute that makes educators feel supported and equipped in their effort to change lives. I felt honoured to learn from such professional and positive people. Everything they do oozes integrity and excellence. It was so refreshing.

The Nursery Teacher Training Course helped me to perceive the way of looking at children from their perspective and also to handle them appropriately. The extreme care that every child needs during their kindergarten years is not only explained during theory sessions and eminent speakers’ sessions, but also practically experienced. Being with children in classrooms has also given a complete hands-on experience in every aspect including the motherly approach of teachers. The holistic approach has thus molded me to confidently take up my career a teacher. Privileged to be part of the training!

Over the past year, DAV Nursery has become a second home for me. During NTT course I found all the faculty, support staff and the school management very much supportive and professional which made me pursue my course in confident way.  This course has more hands-on than theoretical knowledge which helps us to apply concepts easily. I would strongly recommend DAV Guru Shikshanam to anyone who has got a liking to groom young kids, very early in their schooling. The course also offers several opportunities to showcase and hone my skills and abilities in arts and craft besides regular subjects.
